Sarah Rhoads shared this sweet engagement shoot with me, of her two dear friends, Meghan and Jonathan. Though you certainly don’t need props for an engagement shoot, I love the simple items the couple chose to showcase their interests and personalities, from balloons to books.

Really great photos! I would absolutely love to have pictures of me and my husband like #4 & #5. I think a subtle "prop" or two that fits the couple is a great addition to a photo shoot like this.
I have the Cum Laude blouse and the Peplum skirt from Anthropologie! Yay! I was wondering whether to wear those for my own engagement shoot–it's nice that someone else has the same taste!
